"We get together to be a ball of fire, and separate to be stars all over the sky". A single spark can start a prairie fire. The stars light up the future of Great Aim.
Today we get together again. Elites of Great Aim teams get together from each function, each body and each unit. You are from different positions and functions, but you are the stars burning with the same passion to light up the future of Great Aim and your aspirations.
For 21 years, we can't retain the time, but our financial numbers and our "footsteps" on the land have witnessed our esteem and glory of growth and development.
The path of Great Aim over the past 21 years can be summed up with a sentence, "Building our form and spirit". We are stable and dignified for our corporate spirit. The "tree and vine spirit" in our corporate culture is the best portrayal of us. We have always behaved ourselves as upright as a tree (standing tall and upright) and done everything as down-to-earth as the vine (the vine crawls on after taking root in each step, which is the spirit of moving on steadily). The vine spirit reflects ourselves and everything, as the old say goes, "The God witnesses us everywhere", which refers to "ethic". Therefore, the corporate culture of Great Aim Group is "Behaving as upright as a tree, doing things as down-to-earth as the vine. Conduct goes before work, integrity is the precondition to success". This kind of culture and spirit is the unity of body and soul of all people, which will be carried forward.
The path taken by us is winding, but we have made distinctive achievements. We have arrived at a flat path after trekking through the winding path. We are fearless of hardships, for we have the experience of moving on in the hardship. By November 18, 2015, I solemnly and proudly announce, the total volume of planned and under-construction projects of Great Aim has surpassed 51 billion Yuan, including 11 billion Yuan in Zhuhai, Hengqin, Jiuzhou Port and Dijing Bay and approximately 40 billion Yuan in Shenzhen. Before the numbers, we have dignity and pride. However, our tenet tells us, pride only belongs to the past, brilliance lies ahead.
On the 18th birthday and adult ceremony of the group, the board of directors silently asked, what did an 18-year old adult want to do? What will be done? What can be done? Therefore, we implemented the strategy of "one body with two wings", in which "one body" refers to Great Aim Group, and "two wings" refer to real estate and high technology of white light location. The high-tech wing will soon soar, which aims to fill out the gap of the nation or even the world. Here I announce in pride, our technology segment will give birth to one or two listed companies in one or three years from now on.
Last week in an interview with me, the reporter of Nanfang Metropolis Daily asked, which of the real estate and technology segments will be larger. I answered, "We need our two wings to be in balance. They should occupy the same proportion. But I am a merchant who needs to make money. When I fly, I will observe from which wing I can earn more. I will keep a close watch on the wing that will make me earn more, for it will benefit both the boss and employees."
Great Aim has experienced a lot in the past 21 years, which is still vivid in my mind. Many people compare the past to cloud and smoke, but I don't think the comparison is proper. The past 21 years is boiling in my memory. Great Aim is a big family. "The fire burns high when everyone adds wood to it". A pot of water will boil under the flame. We have so many topics. Now let me make an announcement to you: In the 20th year of our development, Great Aim Group bid farewell to the hard times in which good projects were not matched with funds. From last year, projects considered good by us have all be considered good projects by each investment bank. The investment banks will rush to invest on any project recognized by us. Such a milestone has been realized under the circumstance when many real estate business are on the verge of death due to the tough national regulation. The rise of Great Aim's real estate can be compared to "a light boat passing through shipwrecks and a green tree in a withered forest". This achievement is an equal sign or a period plus an exclamation mark when I recall the 21-year development of Great Aim.
The robust growth of the enterprise cannot do without every employee. Other than our frontline employees, we would like to express gratitude to our employees of project department that work around the clock, our employees of business planning department that often prepare reports in mid night, our employees of fund and financial departments who often work overtime, and our employees of administrative and logistics department who offer their support silently and are meticulous with any issue as small as a small screw. It's difficult to calculate the work done by everyone in our administration department. They cannot enjoy the sense of achievement after completing a project, or enjoy the joy after finishing a report. However, they are working diligently and zealously on their positions. Though some employees maybe not skilled enough, or not coordinate well, as long as they are enthusiastic about the enterprise, today the boss will also affirm your work. For each co-worker and employee who has often been criticized, the boss will say sorry to you.
With this chance, I would like to extend our highest respect and gratitude to the hard work and contribution of all people on behalf of all employees, the board and myself. I would like to extend my highest respect and gratitude to the families who have silently supported the hard-working people of Great Aim in the growth of the group.
Now, let me share some of my views.
I. Great Aim has ushered in its 21st birthday. If one entered Great Aim after graduating from the university, this year he or she should have been around 40 years old. It is a common dream for all entrepreneurs including me to create a century-lasting enterprise. Therefore, at the core layer of the group I advocate a match of leading role and supporting role. However, I don't advocate or wish to see "a master surpassed by his disciple", which is very dangerous phenomenon. To avoid this phenomenon, the master must put enough efforts and keep in pace with the times in thoughts, actions and work. Since this year I have launched a program of "five offerings".
1. Offering the youth more promotion;
2. Offering the youth more chances and praises;
3. Offering the direction for the youth;
4. Offering more examples for the youth;
5. Offering more incentive to the youth.
Therefore, one batch after another of youngsters have taken up main posts since this year, which is consistent with the philosophy of "breaking the shell of an egg from inside". An egg is eaten as food when it is broken from outside; and new life will be born when it is broken from inside. I opine that the group's platform should work as an incubator to make more eggs broken from inside. Of course for some positions we may not be able to incubate now, we must break the shell from outside. Since some functions and positions are in urgent need with the development of the enterprise, some cannot be "incubated" for the time being and management does not rely on certificates, but rely on practical experience. Therefore, just like "small feet in large shoes", we must make up our shortage so that we can walk steadily. To "break the shell from the outside", we require the whole group from the board to each functional department to set up an "incubator" and embark on a relay race. Each functional head of the board shall also be matched with an assistant. If an assistant can't be selected, it must be reported to the HR department for deployment. This is a project, to which the HR department must pay high attention. Next year the project will be under evaluation and must be carried out.
II. In the infrastructure construction of the enterprise platform, the boss is an engineer, a designer and more an investor
My task is to set up an effective enterprise platform, which is a platform of people. People are omnipotent. With excellent talents, we can grow and create miracles. However, only a scientific matching mechanism can we attract and retain talents. For this reason, I have launched a new salary mechanism in Shenzhen, which will soon be put into a trial operation and (be implemented across the company) in the next step. In a word, the boss cannot focus on milking, but should building more meadows to feed the cows so that they can produce more milk.
III. Dialectical relationship between contribution and hard work
Many people have said, "Hard work is superior to contribution", but I don't agree with it. I only allow those who have made contribution to gain more, but don't allow those that work hard to gain more, for some hard work is in vain and a waste of resource. I hope that my people won't work hard in vain.
IV. The letter of responsibility and milestones will be the basis for our work tasks in the future. Functional "heads" of the group at each level will implement the tasks based on the nodes and requirements.
With regard to real estate strategy, we will fully unleash our advantages accumulated over 21 years and expand the scope of cooperation based on our strong partnership with each financial institution. Our goal is to build a project that spans five to ten years. We will build the project into an aircraft carrier of Great Aim Group and several small and medium sized projects to meet the dynamic needs of cash flow. A battle group with fighting strength will be formed with large projects as carrier and smaller projects as escort vessels or destroyers to satisfy the needs of development.
